Wole Olayinka

I write fiction and essays; a storyteller with almost a decade of experience in tech, media, and communications. I love to shape stories and distribute ideas. I’ve worked with clients across North America, Africa, and the Middle East. I hold a law degree and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia in Canada.

Thought leadership, reported and placed.

I ghostwrite thought leadership for founders, executives, and investors working at the edges of law, technology, and emerging markets.

Every piece is reported, not generated. I interview you, read your work, talk to your team, and find the specific argument only you can make. Then I write it in your voice and help you find the right platform — whether that’s a Substack or Harvard Business Review.

No, it’s not AI-written drafts. AI raised the floor on competent prose — and that’s cheap and everywhere. I work on the ceiling: writing that earns attention, builds reputation, and compounds.

Beyond the byline

I’m working on two novels supported by arts and research grants in Canada. One is a speculative allegory set in a world of tailed and tailless people who lose what once connected them. The other follows a mother and her son who commits a murder he cannot remember.

Beyond fiction, my writing explores culture, technology, and belonging.
